Ashwagandha is a popular herb in Ayurveda, an ancient system of wellbeing that originated in India. It is also known as Withania somnifera or Indian ginseng. It has a long history of use in traditional Ayurvedic practice.

L-theanine is known for relaxed alertness rather than drowsiness, but ashwagandha can feel calming, so our label recommends taking 10ml in the evening, without food. If you'd like to try it in the daytime, try it first on a day when you don't need to drive or concentrate, to see how it suits you.

We suggest taking it daily for a few weeks, as part of your evening routine. It isn't a medicine. Individual experiences vary.
